Join us for our debut year of this new annual event, held at the Thayne Community Center, on Friday, July 26th, and Saturday, July 27th!
How it works:

Sidewalk squares can be purchased as families, businesses, and as individuals in 4 age categories. All art created needs to conform to this year's theme: Heroes & Villains.

Each purchased square will be pre painted with a black washable base. Artists will have two days to complete their square. Drawing will start at 9:00am on Friday, and art needs to be completed by 6:00pm on Saturday. That evening, judges will view and award prizes in each category.

We will be bringing in a professional chalk artist to do a demo and answer any questions participants have about techniques, tips, etc. This demo will begin at 8:00am on Friday, and is completely optional. She will also be completing her own square during the same time-frame, so she'll be available for questions throughout the whole process.

Any form of sidewalk chalk can be used. In the document linked below you'll see a list of suggested supplies, given by our professional artist. You can see view her work on instagram @thechalkprincess.
Sidewalk squares are color coded according to approximate size. Your square assignment and map will be sent to you by July 22nd. Late registrants will be assigned squares at check-in.
COLOR CODE
Yellow - SMALL - ranging in size from 2.5'x2.5' to 4'x4' - $10
Blue - MEDIUM - approximately 5'x5' - $15
Orange - LARGE - approximately 8'x8' - $20
